The Urban Workshop
April 4-5, 2024

Idaho Watercolor Society, Riverside Hotel, Boise ID

The INSTRUCTOR will teach a 2-day urban workshop, at least part of which will be plein air instruction. INSTRUCTOR will supply to SPONSOR requested images of his work along with biographical information to be used in preparing and advertising the workshop before Saturday, February 3, 2024. Teaching hours will be 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a one-and-a-half-hour lunch break each day.

Painting the PNW
May 24-25, 2024

Seattle Co-Arts, Shoreline, WA

The Pacific Northwest is full of endless painting opportunities and in this 2-day workshop, Ron Stocke will show you his direct watercolor techniques on how to approach the different environments of the PNW. 

We will be focusing on what makes the PNW such a unique place to live and create artwork in. Topics will include the incredible variety of skies we experience, the hustle and bustle of downtown Seattle, the magical landscapes, and of course the sea and sloughs that make this area of the country so beautiful.

Watercolor Workshop
September 13th - 15th

Spokane Art, Spokane, WA

In this three-day watercolor class, Internationally known artist and author Ron Stocke will focus on the successful elements that make a good watercolor painting. Students will be encouraged to loosen up and paint with strong values while exploring limited color harmonies that add mood and excitement to their painting.

Interiors in Watercolor
June 7-8, 2024

Oregon Society of Artists, Portland, OR

In this two-day watercolor workshop, internationally known artist and author Ron Stocke will show students his techniques on how to create radiant light and mood in their interiors. Whether you are trying to create the intimacy of a small reading corner, or the awe-inspiring grandeur of a ballroom, students will be encouraged to keep their colors clean, their shadows strong and playful, and to not get bogged down by the details.
